News on Pula, is that he seems very settled with Nandipa and her calf, Ntongeni. They have all been hanging out with a couple of males, yesterday it was Lysander and today it was Spartacus. Since joining up with them he has not returned to the Boma, where his herd is kept at night. So fingers crossed, it appears that Nandipa is showing him the ropes and keeping him out of trouble. It is really wonderful to see them together. Ntongeni is loving having an older brother. I will try and up load some photos later - we have a slow connection at the moment. Sorry for the delay in updating you - I have been battling to log in.

Cheers for now

Kate

Kate,
Thanks for your work there. I’ve been following many of the wildlifedirect blogs and regularly share the news from them in class with my junior high, social studies students. I have brought conservation and environmental issues into the geography and current events curriculums. We will be sure to keep up on your blog with the elees of Botswana. So good to see your enthusiasm and commitment there.

So good to hear that our work is being used for education - one of my aims in life. Brilliant stuff - you keep up the good work too.
Best wishes
Kate
